As a radio host and an attendee at expos and conferences, I meet many self-published authors or new authors from large publishing firms. One of the comments that I hear from many of the lesser known authors is that they “receive no additional help” once their book is published with a major company. If they are not a “big name”, they feel that the support for their book is a on a different level then authors that are well known. They feel disappoint that their book gets lost in the shuffle.
